TAOIST YOGA

Taoist Yoga is a blend of qi gong, martial arts, and yoga movements, with stretches and postures that flows through and activates all muscles throughout the body. It aids to circulate blood and stimulate energy channels, while calming and relaxing the mind. It helps us understand where blockages are in the body, as well as hindrances of the mind.

It is both a workout and a meditative practice

Classes are 45 – 60 minutes in length

No matter your age, size, shape, or experience, everyone can benefit and all are welcome.

ABOUT TIM:

Tim has been practicing this form of exercise for more than 25 years. He has studied Tai chi, qi gong, yoga, and various meditation techniques, which helped him create this blend of movements and stretching with focused breathing and a relaxed mind.

In his early life, Tim was an elite athlete playing soccer, and was part of state championships in club and high school, and went on to play division I soccer in college. After an injury ended his career, he discovered Tai chi, qi gong, and yoga. Over the years, Tim has found that stretching is one of the most important activities one can do to maintain health and well-being.
